White face gauges and dash cluster rehab

Last year I did the white face gauge cluster mod on my '77 and it looked great for a while. After a short amount of time everything started peeling. For those who have done it, is there a special adhesive you guys used to make it work better?

I'm also looking to replace all of the bulbs with LED's. Anybody have a good source for LED's that will dim fully? Not sure what color I'm going with yet, just seeing what's out there.

Lastly, my seatbelt light is always on. Is there a timer to get these to turn off?

I got my led bulbs from superbrightleds.com. Works great and dimmable.

no timer, it is a ground closing at the seat belt buckle-clip by the floor between the seat... or more likely an exposed bit of wire along its path under the carpet on the driver's side

I don’t know about 77, but on later years with chime module seatbelt light is actually timed by chime module. It’s supposed to be on for short time and then turn off

I'll take a look at the seatbelt wire, if it has one.
