I have a 1983 Cherokee and I am thinking of putting in a Vintage Air Gen iV System. Has anyone installed this or any other Vintage Air Systems?

The Vintage Air GenIV magnum fits like it was made for the FSJ, some things to deal with will the old heater housing hole in the firewall weld it up or make a plate,fabricating lines to go thru firewall from new unit,modify the dash for controls,and mounting underdash vent panels, all very do able and really nice not to have the heater housing in the engine bay, I'm a Vintage Air Distributor and install these units all the time in my opinion the best units out there.

Thank you for the info. That was the model I am interested in. I am thinking of making a new dash cluster and install the controls in the same area as the factory controls.

I had a couple of aluminum plates made last year but didnt use them, for a 79 ish Fsj you can have one for the freight, if interested I’ll sent a pic

These are rough cut and will need to be smoothed out polished or painted but allows you to use a Vintage Air 3 knob control for a Gen IV magnum, if you want one send me a UPS address and I will ship it out you pay the freight.
