Front bucket seats identification

Post by AZOutdoors »

My '66 Wagoneer had these bucket seats in it when I got it. I have since replaced them with an original bench seat out of another '66. Curious if these are from a Jeep originally?

The base looks Jeep-ish. At some point, Jeep changed the CJ seats to have high backs, under NTSA regulation. I would guess that's late ' 70s or early 1980ish. The experts in this era Jeep (jeepforum.com?) mighe be able to narrow this further.
