Seat belt bolts

Post by thej10guy »

Hey everybody I’m sure this has been asked before but what is the best and cheapest place to get new seat belt bolts for a j10. I just need the lowest ones and the ones for the buckle (4 out of 10). I found some on TGW (team grand Wagoneer) but they’re 43 dollars so I was just seeing if you guys knew any cheaper place.

Fastenal/Marshall's Industrial Hardware/McMasterCarr if you have one locally should be able to help find replacement bolts.

There is a reason seat belt bolts retain the standard 7/16”-20 English thread in an era when every other fastener used in modern vehicles is metric.
I used to name my FSJ’s after their previous owners, I realized I had too many with five named Rick.

Dang raccoons again!

Rust is a color too.

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up ordering the seat belt bolts but they didn’t work with the seat belts from my other truck. I’m pretty sure they were not factory seat belts so I decided to order new seat belt bolts that come with hardware. It’s $240 but it’s better to not roll the dice with something as important as seat belts.

Will do once I get them. They are made when ordered. At least they are free shipping. They are from seat belt planet.

That is the link for them. Just select the color you want.
