I purchased a higher output 10Si alternator for the 77 Chief build planning for future add-ons. I am a bit stumped on how to wire it in. I have searched the site and found a few items, but am still left confused. Can anyone dumb it down for me. A diagram or link to an FSJ specific site/thread would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't have time to write yet another tutorial on this topic. It's been done to death. Plenty of resources if you search and read.
Do you have the original ammeter in the dash? If so, you will need to bypass the ammeter to run a higher output alternator. You do not want to set the dash on fire. IFSJA has a sticky thread about the ammeter bypass. You have two tasks - bypass the ammeter, and wire up the new alternator.

There's also plenty of info in the TSM, if you read that. The CJs with a six from '76 on, used a voltmeter (no ammeter!) and the 10SI. You could copy how that's wired from the wiring diagram in your TSM. There is also a section on the 10SI in the electrical section, that should help you understand how the circuit works and how to wire it.
