Door panels

Does anyone have an idea for repairing inner door panels where the door clips are? Mine have torn at the door clip can’t attach to the inner door panel

I redid mine with plywood as cardboard backing on panels was warped and didn’t hold clips (check 2nd or 3rd page of my build).

If I had to do it again, I’d get ABS panels from BJs or men in black on this forum instead of cutting plywood myself.

Sometimes you can saturate the backer board with superglue, and reinforce with additional thin cardboard.
