I moved this thread to Stock FSJ Tech as that appears to be the right place for it. Do you have the original crossmember? The installation of the tranny mount itself is an exercise in patience.
What part of the install do you need help with? Is it not fitting good or do you need advice on the whole deal?
There should be a couple sets of holes in the frame next to each other for different positions of the crossmember depending on the different motors and trannies that came in these things. Bolt up the mount to the tranny and you'll see what set of hole you need to use by where the mount fits on the crossmember. On mine, it didn't just slide up in - had to be "persusaded" a bit - the crossmember was a tight fit between the frame rails.
Wasthis someting you took apart or did you get it this way?

DIsregard my post here.... that's a totally different setup and crossmember than what I have.
Thats the only mount used for the 727 as far as I know. From 80-91. Unless you mean the cross member itself, thats just four bolts per side. Although there is a forward and aft position for it based on engine/transmission setup.
Yes and yes. I have only dealt with std's so i thought after seeing flints pic that the auto had a different crossmember. But it looks like we're all good!
