fuel tanks
On my 78 Cherokee, I have an offset rear end, which I assume is to clear the driveshaft from the gas tank. What was done in later models so that the axle was centered? If it is a different gas tank, can a later model tank be installed in my 78 to permit a centered axle? Thanks for any info!! Robin

The offset axle was because of the QuadraTrak. The Tcase rear output was on the passenger side [Dana 18s were the same]. Does you rig have the Q trak?

Originally it had a QT, now has a 208..
