Edit!! I did see a couple picture that helped with the alt adjustment arm and the large bracket !
I still have the short about 2 inch piece of strap that I believe came off with the alt !

Is there a difference in early vs late or 360 vs 401,
The 7/16 doesn’t fit through the Alt , the long 2” spaced or the brackets but it does match the head

Agree. Alternators cases are cheap and disposable.
