Quick basic question. Tried searching for information but didn’t see anything. I have messed with this morotcraft 4bbl long enough. Any recommendations on a replacement keeping the stock manifold on 360 motor? I’d love to get the sniper but doesn’t fit in budget and I will probably drive the Wagoneer minimally as I restore. It’s a 77 Wagoneer. Please do not crucify me if I’m using this forum improperly but am more than happy to abide
First you'll need a square-bore adapter as the Motorcraft spread-bore is unique and there's no aftermarket carbs available that will fit directly. BJ's sell one, but I'll guess it's the same as the Trans-Dapt #2199 Summit carries. From there go for whatever carb fits your needs. For normal use I quite liked the AVS I had on my rig previously.
