So I have been working on the steering column the mechanic said was busted and was able to get puller kit and fix the loose screws he said couldn’t be fixed.
But when I was taking it apart the bearings were so worn out they fell out and now I need new ones.
Car quest and NAPA don’t have a clue.
Do any of you guys have any ideas where I can find some? There are two bearings in the upper column
Thanks

Probably at a Chevy dealer. The numbers in the AMC parts catalog typically match to the GM part when they are sourced from GM. Look for the bearings you need in the parts books at http://www.oljeep.com and ask about those parts at your local Chevrolet parts department. If you go to the Chevy dealer when they are not busy, they might look them up for you in their parts catalog (microfiche or computer these days).
Junkyard parts are another option. All the GM columns should be the same.

There are 2 upper bearings and one lower bearing. Crown makes kits for both of them. The upper kit is crown part # 83510055 and the lower one is 4487696K
I was able to get a kit from team grand Wagoneer today and it’s on it’s way.
I can’t wait to drive this truck back to the mechanic who said it was beyond repair and get my 150 bucks back!!
