That's sweet! I thought by 66 Kaiser had Jeep but regardless, I love the Willys Overland tailgate!

He said he had that bed made up, all punched out and bent from new steel, the flares are original willys modified to fit the wider tires.

it really was a beautiful truck. the interior was excellent, and his gauge cluster was the same color as the body, just awesome.

Kaiser had Jeep since 1953ish. Willys-Overland became the Willys Motors Division of Kaiser when that happened - and the W-O stamped tailgates disappeared in 1954 as a result. Looks like they grafted the W-O stamping into their 'new' tailgate.
