Well after some thought we've desided to put the J-10 44 from Flint on the 79 frame then put Beca's j-truck on it.Should save some time not having to deal with the post mount.
In the last couple days got the 69 frame parted out some to make room for the 79 frame at the house.Beca also got some dart and 4 wheel drive badges from Jerry thanks she loves them.
I noticed this on Sunday and have been squirming in my frothy soup. I am such an idiot sometimes. Bob, the axle we brought you is for a WT Cherokee not a J10. I guess the basket needs to follow the Kia to Tucson again. <head desk> <head desk> <head desk>
Brandon, measured out both frames and will be cutting about 14 inchs out of the box and then adding a new tail gate section. But right now it's just on paper won't know for sure until everyting is set up how this will all go down.
Thanks, the bruises aren't too bad... Maybe Jerry will be making a run by this way and we can toss it in his load. We have something else for you here too so another trip is not out of line. B-)
Yep, that's right Brandon. We are talking about rear. When I loaded it, I thought it was for the J10. When I saw my mistake Sunday, the J10 axle was sitting there going "neener neener neener I'm still here".

Ahh yeah. The WT Cherokee axles wont even clear the springs on the J10.
Well Beca just beat her old man, that sucks. We are stripping her frame down and pulling the axle was kicking my ars,yes have pullers and tools, she gets out there today and says weld the big nut to the puller dad and bang thread the nut back to the axle and it's done .(5 min utes,oh and keep your finger out from the side and base causes quite the pinch point.
looking good! I'm anxious to see that interior! thinking the same for mine, only green metal instead of blue...shes doing a really good job, I can't wait til my son is big enough to work on his own Jeep.
