Hadn't even thought about the plugs. May just get an entire tune-up at the same time I get the tranny done. The "perform service" message is on the display.

I can't believe I've been driving this thing for over a year now. Time flies when you're in hell I guess.

Got the transmission serviced at the dealer a few weeks ago when I had the tow hitch recall done. Now it doesn't seem to shift or run like it used to. I'm not sure what the dealer might have done. But I'm thinking about taking it to a real shop to get it looked at again.

If it had never been flushed before, they might have pushed sludge where the trans doesn't like it.

And since I don't know the full service history of the rig I have no idea when it was last flushed. I also don't trust dealerships to do the job right. It might also just be that I got accustomed to the way it was running with the unusually cool weather we've been having and now that summer is actually here I'm seeing how it is reacting to the heat.

How's that JK doing? There is a 2005 at the local auction wednesday... one of the kid's car is history...

EDIT:I found the list of engine trouble codes, which is a good hundred of them

it makes you think that the carburetor is a good thing... along with $2 ignition keys...

Don't have a clue. The POS got traded straight-up for a '92 F-150 supercab, shortbed 2WD.

Ah, ah, the one at the city auction was a wreck... crushed the front end... Other vehicle of interests had no coolant in the radiator, probably why they were abandonned on the street.
