I'm flexible from the 6th to the 12th if we want to go out during the week although at some point in that I would like to go drag the Cherk home from Silver.

If it's just going to be a weekend/overnight thing I'd like to go back to Gardner/Alsio.
Pretty easy in and out trip but I'd like to check the alt route down in Sawmill Canyon and see if that's doable.

Gardner is fine with me.
Good food and talk with you this morning at Poco's.
We will figure out the dolly/Jerry/Silver/Cherk thing when Jerry gets back.
For now let's nail down a date for Gardner/Alsio and get some fall run time in.

I am totally up for going during the week but don't want to exclude anyone who is not off.
How about you and I go inventory the Cherk on 8th and 9th and we run and camp on the 12th and 13th?

For what it's worth, my wife is scheduled to be out of town next Monday through Thursday. I would probably hinder the ride being quite the noob, and it's during the week, but just throwing it out there. Maybe I could get someone to do an afternoon "noob training run" with me, assuming the Jeep is up and running by then :)

I knew that and I probably can't go due to work on the 14th (first day back from break and I have 4 new teachers I babysit) but I will check the times again.
>sorry Casey you and Victoria are a great team<

I can run Friday/Saturday or whatever.
Might just do Silver this weekend and take the jeep.
Time for wheeling is here, not going to stop until it breaks again.

Hey, new guy from Mesa (not being a dick but I don't know your name yet).
Gardner is a pussyfoot run that we can do in the QX4 with no 4WD, I can make portions of the trail harder but you don't have to run those, I do, I like to push it and I didn't build this for nothing.

Your biggest problem is can you run highway to get here and back.
Anything on the trail we have dealt with before.

It's Drew ;-)

And crap. Ryan emailed me and the parts I need are all backordered, which means my GW is sitting lifeless for a bit longer. That, combined with the fact that my wife moved her Tucson trip to this Fri-Sun instead of next week and I'm out for an October run. Though as I'm thinking about it, my shoulder probably couldn't handle any jarring yet anyway.

So now I may just drive down to Tucson with her this weekend. Perhaps we can get a noob run going sometime in the next few months. I think I'll do fine on the highway...I'm not worried too much about that part, so the fact that you guys know trail repairs makes me feel good about the trip.

Regardless, I'm very much looking forward to getting to know more of you, especially on the trail! Mike and Jerry have been a fantastic start ;-)

Let us know what you need to be on the road... We may be able to help. Maybe even get to see one or two more waggys while you're down here.

Need an AC compressor (only because old one is already out) but the real deal breaker is the new radiator. However, that should be here Friday, along with the compressor. Now the issue is I am stuck going down to Tucson for the weekend with my wife (not stuck as in I don't like being with her, I do...stuck as in my idea of a ride during bachelor time is no longer an option). However, my goal is still to have Wendy running well enough to tow our camper down for Turkey in the Dessert, so worst case I'll meet many of you then :)

Actually, going through Tucson to Cochise, south of Benson, to visit my wife's best friend and so I can drop off some wheels for her husband's Willy project. Down on Friday, hang out Saturday, back home Sunday.
