I thought the same thing but he did really well on the gov/yankee run. There were a lot of switchbacks. I am trying to remember if I saw him backing up at all. He was right behind me for a good part of the way.
Ha! I 'lead' that gov/yankee run. I had a great co-pilot too. I wasn't sure where to turn a few times but if my memory is correct we found the trail the first time. Yankee was easier to navigate than gov but I had done it the year before. Still two of my favorite spots.
On the days you were out on the bikes, Rudy and I would move our cooler and chairs over near your truck and act like it was ours. Yeah I need one of those myself.
