Hello, I'm french so I'm sorry if my English is aproximative, I'll try my best.
what an awesome job!! I just bought a '75 Wag and my goal is to to make about the same restauration; but when I see the dashboard dismantled on the floor with all those wires I become a little bit frighten!
Have you an idea of the price it will cost when it's finished ?

My 82 had a bench seat too, I should have saved it.

Your English is better than some of the Americans I know!
The dash and all the wiring looks much worse than it is. The job was actually very simple. Just make sure you take pictures as you go or mark which connection goes where.
As far as cost - it's difficult for me to estimate. Many of the parts are from my other Jeep that burned and I have a large collection of spares so I really haven't spent that much on this particular project. I do keep a running tally of all parts on the Jeep, where I got them, costs, etc. With all the performance parts it has accumulated over the last 10 years, that number is scary. I can look at my spreadsheet tomorrow and let you know a total cost up to this point in the build if you
really want me to.

Those two-tone door panels came out nice! Are the white-face gauges from the other Wag or new to this one?

Thanks, the blue vinyl on top is original and the black carpet was done quite a few years back during the original build. I think it ties in nicely with the black carpet/seats and still flows with the blue dash. Not technically factory correct but it's one of the little custom touches.
The white gauges are swapped over from the old Wag too. There's a company that makes the overlay to customize your stock gauges. I also did the gauge panel blue to match the dash. Another of the small custom touches that not many non-Wagoneer people will notice.

Oh yeah, now I see the blue gauge panel too. That blends in nicely - quite subtle.

I like the gauges and switches in the glove box. That is nice and discrete.

I hope the lack of recent updates is because you're out driving and racing this Wag.

Not quite driving but getting stuff done still. I have given up on perfection temporarily, just want it running/driving and I'll go back and make it nice over the winter. About to post some mass updates, stay tuned.

Sent the old Jeep off to the new owners. It was supposed to go to scrap but it sounds like they may make it into a beater/off roader. Hopefully it continues making memories, it's already been through a LOT lol.

Everyone's allowed to get a little sloppy sometimes! Enjoy the summer. This way, you'll have a do-over bodywork list for the winter AND a tune up/performance list since you'll have had time to run the truck!

Bunch of random small updates this time. Nothing major but progress nonetheless. Got another big order coming in from Delcity and then I'll be hitting the wiring pretty hard and hopefully get it running soon.
Brake lines from the master cylinder are finished. Also have the throttle linkage hooked up.
Regulator/gauge location. Coil installed.
Line lock and proportioning valve hidden down low on the frame.
Factory wiring harness cleaned up.
Plug wires. D'oh, the say Ford on 'em, lol.
More cleaned up factory wiring.
New battery. It's so cute! Still have to mount it.
Bunch more wiring and hoses hooked up.
Ignition boxes mounted, still need to be wired.
Glove box full of fun stuff.
