Ive been out of the FSJ game for a while. Love this board, but what happened to IFSJA? I tried to register there and it says its disabled. Is it only for archives now? What happened to Adam the moderator? Is this the end of the internet?

theres a ton of threads on that both here and there. basically there is no one left over there with the admin privileges to approve new members or something along those lines. its basically a ghost ship.

The past admins from there that are now here that kept it running were amazing. But IMHO I don't see a reason to go back from this great site

Nope, got done in Germany (which was awesome by the way), to Northern TX for the last four and a half years. I just moved (a week ago) to the Fredricksburg, VA area. Much different than Wichita Falls, but so far I am adjusting and like it a lot.
Any Northern VA FSJers out there?

Guess it's a matter of Opinions. I still go there & there's quite a few that do most of the time the population of viewers matches here. It's still a great place to visit & talk to a few that have enough time for both sites. I'll not trash the many great times & it still has some to give. It may be dying site but I'll ride it down. Both sites are great.
She's old Cantankerous tired, hard to deal with, not popular to some & still loved by others . Just like My Cherokee. It's what I like about all 3 things. FSJ network, IFSJA & FSJ's & just like my Cherokee lots have left them behind But it shines in my eyes.

No longer strangled. I didn't build it for anyone else.
If you can't improve it why waste your time?
Dont get me wrong, I cut my teeth over there and its because of that site the ECI even got started back in 2003. But less than the site, and like I have always preached, FSJ's are as much about the people as the vehicle. As I get back into the FSJ world I am sure I will be viewing the information and gleaning information from the IFSJA.
I cant believe it really finally fell like that, sad really, but since I got into this world that site was ALWAYS a lot of work for the mods. My hat goes off to those that kept it going as long as they did.

I frequent Charlottesville, just got back yesterday. Hows it going?
I haven't been there in a while. I use my phone and tablet for internet stuff a lot lately, and I kind of prefer tapatalk for forums. That works here, but not there.

I have done the same. And just go "What on earth was I thinking?!" But you can learn a lot in 12 years.
