Just wanted to let the fire crews that working like &%@$ on the firelines know we are thinking of them and also their loved ones for those we just lost.
Hope they get them under control safely soon. Glad we don't deal with those too much around here but the carelessness of other people can't be controlled.

My mom-in-law is one of the evacuees from the town and staying with us. She finally got confirmation today that her house is still there.
Did not know any of them, but met a couple through other friends. This whole area is morning. Everyone I talk to seems to have known one or more of them.
It's sad when that happens. The only way it won't happen again is if they have better protection and train someone to ALWAYS maintain a fall back route (first priority in some areas) with a quick setup safe zone "tent".
