Bronco

Post by Shagoneer »

When I first bought my Waggy my best friends, whose family restores classic Broncos, made fun of me as did much of his family. They said that" It's be really nice if you lift it give it 33's and make it a Bronco." SInce then my best friend has bought a Cherokee 4.0, his brother bought a Grand Cherokee, and their father bought a Wrangler. WINNING

BlackBart and his mom FancyFree were die hard Blazer folks till I showed up with the Cherokee. Now she has a lifted Waggy with J20 axles a 401 backed by a T18 dana 20, and his girlfriend has has a waggy that is a work in progress. Plus there are now numerous parts rigs stashed out back!

I don't have anything against Broncos, I think they're pretty brutal 4x4. I just think its funny that after the whole fsmily bashed jeep originally now they all have jeeps

I'd love to own a first gen bronco, but when you look at the price of an old bronco vs a fsj, that idea goes out the door!!!

With the "all makes combined, or rigs are about 1/4 ford stuff anyway.

The SJ's are about the same wb, length and width as the 73/up blazers and a foot shorter in height in stock trim. Mine suprised me for the first year as it is twice the wheeling rig as a Blazer, when both are stock.

I love Broncos! I'm obviously more partial to Jeeps, but I would object to driving a Bronco. Plus, removable tops are bomb.
