This was a good trip for sure. Well till the end anyway. The Jeep caught fire the next day.

I started a thread here viewtopic.php?t=23458 . It was fuel related. I believe the fuel line from the filter to the carb failed. I have heard from others that this seems to be a issue with standard fuel line now with the modern fuels. I have been told to replace the fuel lines with fuel injector fuel lines.

Yes lots of vehicles burned down over modern fuels and crap fuel line. Fuel injection hose is all I’ve seen hold up.
Just another way to get the older vehicles off the road I suspect...
So sad you had the fire, but glad it was close to emergency services, and nobody was hurt. Looking for more vids with your other rig, until you get Ol Yeller Jeep back on the trails

Could have been a total loss out in the wilderness for sure. I will post the other videos here too if they are all right with that.
