Window film and carpet fade

Post by Thomas792 »

I’m getting back into fixing my Grand Wagoneer after a long pause due to my kids activities. They are at college now so my wife gave me some free time.
My carpets are horribly faded/destroyed due to the sun. A car cover is not an option due to HOA. Will a window film of some sorts block the UV rays from destroying everything? Not talking tint but a clear film.

I guess I should have asked if anyone had any experience with the window film and would it help my situation?
