Was the 4-wheel drive badge that was located under the J2000 badge, mounted on bothe the driver and passenger side behind the front wheel? Or just on one side of the vehicle?

No responses yet ... I don't have much to contribute, since this was before my time with Jeeps. I'd look online for other examples or product literature. I can't imagine they would have the badges different depending on left or right side.

Have you searched online? IMO you are pretty much obligated to search before you ask - https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=19 ... C3&first=1

Here's an ad for a '68 that shows both sides. http://classiccardb.com/jeep/596451-196 ... anual.html

I had seen examples online, it's just when I bought replacement badges some years back and finally got around to unpacking them there was only one 4-wheel badge. Funny thing is that they were still attached to say 8x8 squares of fender sheet metal and on one of the squares there was no 4-wheel badge or any sign that one had ever been mounted, no holes drilled or holes patched. Seemed odd so I thought I'd ask. The donor must have been in an accident and the badge never replaced on that side. My bad for never removing the pieces from the bubble wrap upon receipt, now I will need to obtain another replacement 4-wheel badge.

Now the task will be restoring the badges with the paint in the associated grooves.

I've got some extra badges like that off a '72 if you want two of them. Both would ideally need restored but aren't too bad.

That would be great!
Let me know what you want for them.
