Carpet for a J10 with baby blue interior

Post by candymancan »

So im finding websites all over for molded carpet for my 76 J10. And ive already had a couple places send me 17 diff samples of carpet.. and colors

But none really match the baby blue color. So where do you guys get this color ? These are the only two outa 15+ shades i liked. One is (sorta) close enough. The other matchs the door metal painted parts and the body/ floorboard. But i dunno if this would look odd if i picked that color

i think the darker color looks better, and may not show up dirt and stuff so easily , my opinion

When I did my J10 (same color interior) I got the carpet from BJ's, and it matched what was in there pretty close.

I actually agree. The darker one looks identical to the floor board paint so it would look like that. But is it too much of an odd color scheme ?

How much did BJs want though. They charge a hellish premium for stuff i noticed thats much cheaper elsewhere. Do you know what color you picked ? On their site they just name 50 colors.. but give no example of what they look like. At least other sites shows the color

The price is likely wildly different than what it would be today. I can see if I can find the original order with the color though.

I think I'd either do the darker blue or just a black or something. Personally, as much as I love a lot of blue everywhere, I'm glad mine has black carpet, because otherwise there would just be too much blue.

That's just me though.

There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.
