Looking for a Gladiator Grill ub poor chrome condition

Post by b00sted »

Plans to paint is with rock guard so the chrome does not matter. Would also like to get the the round headlight buckets and the two inner lights. Converting my 85 to the old cool look.

The inner "lights" are not lights at all, they're just covers called "pie plates" but people have modified lights to fit in the holes where the pie plates normally would cover.

There's a feller that makes batches of glass repros of the grill and plates on the other site that are supposed to be very good since he made molds from the originals. Idunno if he's on here or still in bidness. Look in the Vendor Forums.

CJ buckets are the same or at least workable. Both original and CJ buckets need simple leetle brackets to mount since the later cutouts are a different shape.

Also need the chromy headlight beeezles.

I have a set of his pie plates and a grill. He was great to deal with and the pieces are nice for gellcoated, hand laid pieces.

There’s a few sets of the headlight buckets on eBay. I just picked up a pair.
