Was a tad breezy in Oklahoma last night. As a large storm/cool front blew through. The gust front was brutal, 90-120mph straight line winds. Lots of tree damage along with power lines down and poles snapped off. Injuries and fatalities were extremely low, but I know some lost houses from trees landing on them.
It only took us a couple of hours to get everything cleaned up but many folks are going to be in the dark for sometime.
Did put the J Truck to work

The bus I ride is so short it is a yellow Smart Car full of squirrels, monkeys and clowns.
There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.
Good work... Weird season on the left coast as well. Memorial day weekend was nice but in the higher elevations there was the constant threat of thunderstorms which is unusual, along with still a lot of snow on some forest roads and closures.

Thanks guys. Power is still out for much of the area. The recovery from this is going to take some time. Finally got a generator coming tomorrow for my work so we can put the 25 folks that work for us there back to work. It’s expensive but we have to take care of our folks and our customers. They are counting on us to make our deadlines so they can make theirs and everyone can get paid.

WHEW - Glad to hear the truck is OK. The fatalities, personal injures etc, building's falling over, tree torn up, no biggie, the Jeep safety is what's important! (sarcasm)
