So hooking them up sounds like a good idea then. Where do they go to? You have a picture of them hooked up? If I remember I plugged them for now.

It can go into the upper hose, or, if you get a LS swap radiator, it will have a port for the steam line.

Quick update on the truck. It has been some time but the J10 has been out of the shop having the wiring completed by a friend of a friend. Yesterday it finally came back to the shop and I'm planning on getting the truck back to my house this winter. It has been a long swap due to limited time to work but should be well worth it here in a few short weeks. More to follow and more pics to come. Stay tuned.....

Finally time has come to get back to the long delayed project. I have time this coming Sunday. Plan to work on a few things that include:
-Test drive, adjust TV cable
-Fab a bracket to secure air intake
-Install bowtie overdrive TCC kit in 700r4
-Run through all the wiring upgrades
-And if time permits install water temp and oil pressure sending units
If all goes well we will trailer the J10 to my house to finish some small details before I get it inspected and on the road.
I'm planing on using the stock gauges for a little while and bought a water temp and oil pressure sending unit for the AMC 360 based on a Novak write up. Has anyone done this? I'm looking for some advice/help.
Thanks.
Matt

I was able to work on the truck this past weekend and I can say my involvement for the motor swap is complete. There is still some items that need to be finished before it can be state inspected and out on the road. I'm going to pay a friend to finish a few last items because I just don't have the time right now. Once he is finished the truck will be trailered to my house and I'll get it on the road and drive it.
I was able to install my TCC brake switch kit from bowtie and adjust TV cable and test drive truck for first time. All systems seem to be functioning as expected. Felt good to actually drive the truck once again.
More to follow as well as pictures in the weeks to come as the truck is finished abd brought to my house.

Where did you mount the oil pressure? On the oil pump bracket or the top of the block in the back? (Replacing the factory sensor? )

Top of the block in the back where the factory sensor goes. I don't have a picture of that.

One step closer for J10 to be back on road.
Transmission fluid cooler lines installed. Utilizing the radiators internal cooler and the external cooler to maximize cooling.
More to come....

Ran into a bit of a snag with the stock gauges. All the sensors have been mounted but the wiring behind the stock gauge clusters is a bit of a mess to say the least. To save some time since I plan on replacing all gauges at a later date I plan on buying a set of 3 (water temp, voltmeter, oil pressure) from summit and use them so I can get Jeep on road and drive it for Spring and Summer.
A couple pictures of the truck from yesterday:

Thanks! It is amazing how they deteriorate over a few short years. Luckily it will have a spot in my garage when it finally comes back to my house.

Finally after 3 years of waiting the J10 has come back home for the final touches. Main things left are gauges and cooling fan. It runs and drives great. One thing that I need to look into is the external fuel pump I'm using. It has always been noisy but today loading it on and off trailer it seems to be straining and very loaded. Any one using the same pump notice this? I picked it up from Speedway, don't remember make and model off hand without looking back through thread.
A few pics.... It will be in garage by end of this coming week.
