My 77 J10

Post by jeepguy77 »

This is how it looks now, this truck has quite a long story behind it, thats much too long for me to type. I still have paint sitting un opened waiting for me to get the time and space to repaint it.

Once again, such a sharp truck.

And I see your problem with your clutch... you are suppose to use maple! :D

That clutch was the craziest thing, I was slowing down for a red light, and as I pushed the clutch pedal all I heard was a loud pop. The pedal then just went straight to the floor. Luckily I was able to coast into a parking lot. Maybe maple would be better :D

Beautiful truck. :-bd

I have a blue one with an auto in it. Mine came as a "z" code (401) but the crank needs rebuilt.

I wish mine was a z code, but I do like having a manual better than an auto. If Im really on my game I can chirp the tires shifting from second to third. But a ceramic clutch does help with that. Im gonna hopefully have it painted soon, it will be charcoal gray, or maybe some kind of copper, maybe like the newer wranglers have.
