Tailgate - Heater switch removal

Can't seem to find the right manual or T&T to remove both the tailgate switch & the heater switch without yanking them into 2 pieces. Anyone?

The knobs have a piece of metal that needs to be squeezed to remove them. The trim pieces have plastic clips that need to be pried VERY CAREFULLY from the back side. That's as far as I've gotten with mine.

Ok, I read that for the light switch but didn't know that applied as well for the other 2 switches. I will give it a try.

The headlight switch just has a pin you have to push in to release the knob, then you just unscrew the trim piece.
