Probably just a Holley 2bbl. Cool that you already have power steering, that can be hard to come by for the 327. How long since the motor has run?

Looks like a Motorcraft, Ford carb. Any tag on it with numbers?

Looks like a motorcraft. Cracked passenger side manifold? Looks like it at least.

I like the size 15 go pedal, lol. You could do a dance on that thing and your foot would never slip off.

Those tires are just in trail mode. Could climb a vertical wall with that pressure.

Yes, that's a Motorcraft 2100 carburetor. Used on Fords and AMC Jeeps. Pretty much a bolt-on replacement for the original Holley 2300 2V carb. Replacement exhaust manifold may be hard to find. You gotta fix it - a big air leak like that will cause a burnt exhaust valve eventually.

I think I have a driver side manifold if you want it.

On the exhaust manifold... The Jeep 327s have identical exhaust manifolds. Rambler cars had left and right side manifolds that are different from each other on the 287/327. Jeeps use the right side car manifold on both sides of the engine. The left side car manifold had a clearance issue on the FSJ.

The manifolds on both my fsj 327s look slightly different between passenger and driver side. They may bolt up on either side but the end that bolts to the exhaust pipe is different between the two.

A driver side ramble manifold will fit the fsj without any issues. I have one on my engine because I wanted to get rid of the exhaust crossover under the oil pan.

Not sure how I missed this. Cool truck! Mine has a Koenig PTO winch that works. I can get photos of the shafts and joints if needed.
Power steering and manual brakes, mine was the opposite. The PO had a PS pump for it, just have to get the right steering box. I rebuilt the drum brakes and ran new lines all around, added a dual reservoir MC and a 7" dual diaphragm booster. Stops really well now. Best thing I've done for the truck.
Looking into a Motorcraft 2150 for my truck at the moment.
Get to work and have fun, they're really cool trucks!

Wow, good to know, thanks. New info! I have only dealt with one Jeep 327 in a 67 Wag. When I pulled it out and removed both exhaust manifolds, they were identical so I thought they all were. After 30 or 40 years, it could have been changed out.

Don’t mean to muddy this thread with manifold talk but here’s a photo of the driver side (left) and passenger side (right):

The only real difference is the angle of the exit. The driver side is straight down to connect with crossover that runs under the oil pan and the passenger side is swept back to meet up with exhaust at Y connection.

The rambler driver side was a good upgrade for me because I could run dual exhaust that way. I didn’t have any clearance issues with the frame or clutch linkage but my j2000 has a body lift which may help.

You are expanding knowledge base for me and probably others. The Wag I parted had two like the red one with no heat riser so the Y pipe on that was not stock. Thanks!

Do the 2 center exhaust port join in the head and exit in a single port? That's very first-generation.

It isn’t every day you get to educate flint:) I never tried swapping them left to right. Mine didn’t have the original crossover either. Somebody ran like ten feet of flexy exhaust from the driver side manifold underneath the motor and over the trans. It was a mess.
