I have been able to upload pictures as attachments to posts but don't know how to add them so they show up as part of the post (so the reader doesn't have to click on a link.) Would someone mind advising on how its done? thanks

Are you using the Tapatalk app on your phone for uploading pics, or are you using the actual website to upload?

Without the app, you’ll need a free pic hosting site like Flickr, Imgur, etc.

Upload pics to one of those hosting sites once you register with the site, then you can copy a link, or the image directly from that site onto your posts here.

Do not use photobucket unless you want to pay for having them host your pics. There are other “pay to post” hosting sites, too.

All in all, if you have a smart phone, the Tapatalk app will allow you to post right from your phone and the app is free, most seem to use it instead of a secondary hosting site.

You can always add photos as an attachment. But I do limit their sizes. Tapatalk is definitely the easiest way to upload photos.

They are stored with tapatalk. Which yes, if they ever went away years and years down the road, the photos may go with them. But the same can be said for any place of storage.
