This never crossed my mind. I'd like to lift it about 4". Just priced the Hell Creek springs......WHOA!

Ive been running the 4" Hell Creek springs on the old post style for about 4-5yrs now. The rear has always felt bouncy even after doing the 88-98 GM rear shackle hanger conversion. The front springs are WAY too heavy duty. They barely move when i put the truck on the lift if they even drop at all. The double wrapped main eye on the front springs are overkill unless you plan on running a Caterpillar engine or something of equivilent mass and even then i doubt they would move. Overall they are not completely horrible on the road and im happy for thr most part but if youre looking for flex i recommend looking at other options. The fronts just dont have any give

Theyre just standard 88-98 half ton rear shackle hangers. The style that drop down below the frame (J shaped) and i used Iron Rock Offroad 2" lift shackles from an XJ project to get the rear suspension down closer to level. You can get them at any local autoparts place
