I need a week away. My Jeep, my telescope and my guitar. A nice trail...campsite and a campfire. Solitude, crickets....peace and quiet. GOt to make it happen soon before I start picking flowers off the wall...

Keep my phone for emergencies...but leave technology behind.

Yeah, I've got the cabin fever setting in pretty hard myself. I've mapped out a solid 3 day trip down through New Mexico and back up through the San Luis valley in May, but my darned inlaws just announced they're coming to visit the weekend I planned it for.

Bummer at least you weren't already packed and headed out the door when they showed up!

There is a place near here...state park. I need to check into what it will cost for a couple night stay. Cabin Fever is setting in bad...

Wow...20 Dollars a night for a site with water and electricity. Since I have sleep apnea I have to have electricity...I do have a 100 watt solar panel and a solar battery, I wonder if the battery will run the CPAP all night? I can have the panel in full sun during the day which should charge the battery pretty well. I have an inverter as well...heck perhaps I can furnish my own power

Even a day trip can be helpful for winter blues. I am probably over due.
