Studs and Guide plates

The bridge rocker arms are making a racket, they appear to be past their service life. I'd like to switch to a roller style arm, the heads have the small push rod slot so I don't think I'll need the guide plates.
My question is will I need to have the heads machined? Or is it as simple as removing the existing equipment, installing the studs and new arms?

If you're cool with spending the $$ Harland Sharp sells a bolt on replacement. Otherwise, need some machine work done.
