You don't net much lift. If you add 3/4" of leafs from the donor pack, you'll be lucky to get a full inch of lift. AMHIK.

Um, nope, never done it.......... OH wait, you meant leaf springs, thats my specialty.

Not to sound like an A**, but look elsewhere.
...... You may be able to get SOME cheap lift, but it WILL be a good bit of work. Not likely you will get both and want to drive it after. If you add a whole 1T spring pack to your main spring you would gain a couple inches, but forget ride quality or flex. So then why have springs.

You may be better off swapping to different springs. I know F150 springs will net some lift in the rear, ~4" roughly and all you have to deal with is the metric vs standard bolts conversion. It gets discussed in my shackle flip thread here

Not sure what works up front, other than a SOA conversion.

I may do a write-up about bastard packs when I have more time.

I cut the eyes off another main leaf (or buy a new main leaf and cut the eyes off the old one) to get slightly stiffer ride but the truck is back to stock height so sag is gone.

the exploder springs with the f250 hanger sounds like a good route. i need 4" of lift in the rear and dont wanna run the stock shackle set up. i was thinking about taking springs out of my stock front springs and putting them in the rear to get rid of the blocks but that would make for a really stiff ride.

Watch what spring hanger you get, they are different widths.

I'm curious what years your talking about here. I know there is a difference in springs between I thinks it is pre 74 and post 74. I have a 69 wagoneer that has 3 inch blocks with the stock springs and a shackle flip in the rear and 2 1/2 inch lift springs(spring under) and extended shackles in the front that gives approximately 4 inches of total lift. I would like to keep the same amount of lift and spring under up front but ditch the blocks out back. I would really interested in making my own to same some cash.
