hey guys. There isa Junkyard in las vegas called NVTS on 1900 Losee Road.
They have a blacl Grand cherokee 5.9 limited there. and i desperetly need the coolant fan switches on it. They havent made these for over a decade and when the upper switch goes bad your jeep gets to 220-230f before the high speed lower switch kicks on.
There are switcjs from other brands you can buy but none of them turn on at thr correct temperature.. ZJ owners have been trying for years.
Its a long shot.. but if anyone is in las vegas.. could guy grab the two switchs.. one is on the upper hose. other is on lower hose. they are in a little metal tube clamped to the radiator hoses.. You wont be able to unscrew them due to be corrosion welded in but you can easily take them with the little tube.. I also need the upper hoses plug so maybe cut it back 3 or 4 inches so i can solder it back on mine.
i lost my plug when trying other coolant sensors.
would be a big help..
thanks. I mean im sure the yard would charge like 5 or 10$ for a little coolant sensor.switch im willing to pay you for the trouble plus cost and for shipping.
