Hey guys, since this is kind of a build of sorts, do you guys object to me moving it to the build area? I can leave it here too, doesn't really bother me. Just more appropriate to be in the other area.
I left you a msg mr Bob. Less talk tamale. I got errands to run in the morning. My new 35s started shedding balancing lead on Wednesday. That injustice does not stand man. )
OH, Oh, oh, it is also noted the thread is moved with no objection Brandon. LOL, this Jeep was original when I bought her for as a wedding gift to Krista in Sep 2000. She will never be original again and as such is a Custom project. Gracias. We will celebrate 11 years locked in low range on the 12th.
Thank you all for your support through this effort to bring a phoenix to rise from the ashes. Sez Me. B-)
Today have to throw on the diff cover and pull the hood for prep ad paint, yesterday washed out the engine bay it's amazing where the dirt hides on these things.

Bob, I have a thick front cover with the screw in plug if you want to use that instead.

I don't need it, don't have D44 stuff anymore.
I'll be at Em's in the morning, want to do breakfast at Poco's tomorrow?

Flint do the darts bolt on or tape?
Yesterday started to strip all te rust off the under side of the hood and prep for paint.
Painted the support bars in the purple and the rest of the latch hardware black cleaning all the rust out was what took the time. going to shoot the white on to day.
Also shot the edge in purple since it would show in the hood to fender gap.
Has anyone ever used under coating spray on the under side of the hood, wondering how much better it would be then the instulation just care.
The dart has a post on each end. There is a box with the darts and script Wagoneer emblems. I know you have emptied the Jeep out but I think they were either on floor between the seats or in front of the passenger seat. The V8 emblems that fit at the square end of the darts and the 73 QT emblems use the double stick tape type of stuff. These are at our place.
I have never used undercoating on the bottom of a hood before but have imagined doing that without issues. After quick chat with Krista - Let's leave the hood white underneath. If we ordered the factory style matting would you be interested in installing it if we have it shipped to you Bob?
I thought I saw you and Jess doing up purple hood bars in your pictures. Your attention to the bottom side of the hood and engine bay are much appreciated as we were kind of expecting to deal with that later. So, thank you!
