SOA With Sway Bar Questions

Post by jeep_j10_1975 »

I'm planning my 76' J20 build and I was wondering how the people out there, who are running a sway bar and SOA, rigged up the links to the axles? Did you make a custom spring plate to attach the links? I look forward to hearing from you!

What I did was use the stock plates upside down on the top of the springs and swapped left for right. Had to weld up and redrill the holes because one u-bolt is bigger where it catches the edge of the diff housing.

Mines different in that neither spring sits on the diff housing but I think what I did would still work for you.

Yeah, I heard the earlier ones you can just swap and flip since they are basically flat on both sides. The later model ones this doesn't work because they are not flat.
