No, I assume they were factory. It got up and moved alright, when I didn't have a front driveshaft it would spin the back tires no problem.

Hey guys and sorry I didn't get right back to you on the questions. As far as the gearing goes, they are stock gearing. It's actually in the low to mid 3's. Never had any problem with being weak on the street or the trails even with the 258 that was in it.

As far as the backspacing on the wheels, they are stock Chevy ralley wheels. I haven't had any problems rubbing on the front end, even in the tightest turns and the real, I just had to do the old hot rodders trick of rolling the lip of the fender in some. A pair of flanging vice grip plyers and a body hammer and problem solved. :D
