Rudy seems to be getting a little bossy!
Bossy is not the word for it. Cranky more like it.
We are in Ponca,OK for the night. The top north east of NM is breath taking so I spent some time out cruising the Mesas or is that mesi?
I plan on being home still tomorrow night.

Rudy is out cold still.
1490 miles one way.
3694 miles round trip.
8 different states.
$314.80 in gas ,most of it $1.00 off a gallon
$2400.00 approx,for everything.
roughly $1.54 per mile
Not a bad price for that much fun.
Have a few more things to unload then I take off for a 200 mile side trip to go deliver that tailgate and make good on a steak dinner. Rudy will be left here at the house.
Thanks to all who were part of this trip. Great to see old friends and make a few new ones.

Team Hyundai was knocking down 27 miles a gallon no problem and running 90+ MPH on the highways and open spaces in NM and OK.
Since it was a Hyundai Sante Fe Sport I did some cruising on the Sante Fe trail(northern route) in Kansas and (Southern route) in OK.
My Jeep will cost me bare minimum of $800 in fuel alone to there and back with no side trips.
