Subscribed thread notifications...

Is it possible to be emailed when there is a response to a subscribed thread? If so where are the controls for that? Thanks

I just tested this and I am getting emails to threads I subscribe too.

Be sure to check your junk mail, and add @fsjnetwork.com to your approved senders list.

I did make a small change to the email settings which may have fixed the issue you were having as well.

Ok then Im missing something on my end then. How and where do you subscribe to a thread? I see how to un subscribe to threads, but It also shows that Im not subscribed to any? I know other formats have the option to control subscriptions on the page its self or in the user control panel...

Ok, two things you can do.

At the very bottom left hand corner is a "Subscribe Topic" button. Its kind of small, I know.

The other thing is in the control panels, under Board Preferences, and then "Edit Posting Defaults" is an option to "Notify me upon replies by default". This will send you an email if anybody replies to any topic you have posted on.

Ok it looks like I'm doing everything correctly but still no notification. I read through the "how to" stuff for the forum. I didnt see how to check or change your Email address. Thinking this stuff might be going to an old email address no longer in use? Anyway to up date that?

Go to your control panel, then to "Profile" and then to "Edit Account Settings". You can change your email, password, etc there.

Also, it wont send an email if you are the one doing the commenting, only if others do.

check your junk email file and mark as forum mail to get them all.

Ive done all of the above and for some reason I have a glitch in the system. Oh well I will just check in from time to time. No Biggie
