Trail Gatherings: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – optional Saturday for those who can wheel that day. Plan to be checked in to the KOA by Tuesday evening (July 16) because we start hitting the trails Wednesday morning.
Ouray FSJ Invasion plans are coming together for 2013. This will be year 14 above the timberline in the San Juan Mountains for Krista and Flint and we enjoy your company on the trails up there each and every every summer!
We have set aside tent sites 41 through 52C with Ouray KOA. These sites will be held open for FSJ Invasion attendees until at least the end of December 2012. If it looks like we will have a larger group, I will arrange more sites to be held. If you wish to reserve other sites that we are not arranging, that is fine as well. If you have to cancel, please contact me so we can make arrangements for someone else to get the site.
Please Remember This:
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your arrival date, you pay KOA for at least two nights. Your bill with KOA is your responsibility. Here is the KOA web site: http://koa.com/campgrounds/ouray We recommend you reserve your KOA site by contacting Dave and Deb by email (koaouray1@mindspring.com) or call 1-800-KOA-8026 and ask for Dave. The office is open 8AM to 9PM until Labor Day. When you contact the KOA, tell them you are with the Full Size Jeep Group (not FSJ group).
TAD and RSTEP will be organizing a raffle for 2013. Details will be posted as this develops.
Post up here or PM me for questions or when you reserve a KOA site. I will not be following other threads for this. THANKS! - Flint (fulsizjeep)
Rule #1 - Bring your low range or park that big dawg on the black top.
I think the map is up to date. I will spend some time over the weekend making sure. Names are IFSJA member names. If yours is different here at FSJN, please let me know so I can change it.

LOL, that is the tent site of The Fire. We gather round in the evenings, drink beer and other fine spirits then tell lies like how we backed down Black Bear road.

Sounds like a blast! I wish I could go one time. It would take a couple of WOT's for me to be able to make it.

You don't *HAVE* to drive an FSJ there. Its great to do so, but its not required.
I am hoping to go, but it won't be in the J10 unless I happen across a set of new tires, suspension, and an engine. Its fine to drive locally, but not 14 hours straight.
Well the plan is for me to be there (solo) and a hoping that a close buddy of mine will be able to make the trip with his TJ (trying to get him on the wagon). I will let you know when my plans are final.

I think to get the "whole" effect, and FSJ is necessary. Maybe I can just trailer the beast up there with all my unistalled parts and make all of ya'll help me work on it. LOL
