The weather turned out great. A little cold to the air but I was wandering around in a tee shirt. Nice bright sunlight.

What a great time. It was fun taking Drew out on his first run. He did great and he has a new nick name 'Throttle'. :)

I think he and his son are hooked. It was nice to get out with Tad and Jerry as well. This is the first FSJ run we have had in a while. I am thinking we can do upper woodpecker in a couple of weeks. And when the nights warm up maybe a Tucson trip with camping.

Great to wheel with everyone today, sorry Bob did not make it, but still a great group.
I have the 4 or 5 main videos up on FB but when I get to my clunker PC I will get them up on the tt's site.

No stops for breakage, got to love that.

I only repeat that pic because those are the same front shocks I have been running since 2001 with the old 4" lift, totally blown and only function as limit straps now.

Don't know. Two in one week. Look like I need to pull the tranny tail shaft and look
for wear.

The tranny works OK otherwise Jerry? The governor plastic gear was chewed? We have had a couple go bad, it is a wear item.

OK, couple of pic's from me:

Em and I met up with Jerry in Florence for what turned out to be some fairly decent breakfast at the Old Pueblo Restaurant, beats the heck out of McDonalds.

Image

Headed out to Cottonwood road to air down at the staging area.

Image

First stop was to look at some petroglyphs.

Image

Image

Mike took us on up the Lower Ajax Trail.

NOTE: Videos are between 50 and 140 megs, might be better to simply download them.

Drew (AKA Mr. Throttle) on the first real obstacle.

Then Jerry.

Then Me:

Then came the falls.

I could not get out of the jeep fast enough to catch Mike going down.
So #2 was Drew.

Then Jerry.

Then Me.

After that we headed off for lunch, plenty of good food and talk.
I didn't get shots of the food but this is a pretty normal sight for folks that wheel with me and Em.

Then out through Box Canyon.

We were tired by the time we got back to Tucson, you know what they say...
11 hours in a tin can
...7am to 6pm for us.

Let's do it again soon.
