Made some bonsai passes down an airport runway this weekend. Got the chance to make a trip to Gladwin MI for their event "Thunder on the Strip". Basically it's a small town with an airport that they shut down twice a year to drag race on. It's an 1/8 mile race with very minimal prep. True street cars only, DOT tires, registration & insurance, full exhaust, etc. I didn't have much luck getting it to hook but still had a great time. Still one of the quickest cars there. I'll be making some changes and trying again in the fall.
I figured it would be ok since it works well on the un-prepped street since they put traction compound down but I was wrong. Making changes for next time. Probably won't be carrying out wheelies but it should make it down the track better.
