I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy the intermediate parking brake cable for a 1977 Jeep Wagoneer? I’ve checked multiple stores and they all sell ones that are 57.5 inches long. It’s about 3 inches too short. I don’t know if the cables I got that attach to the drum brakes are too short but they were also all I could find. They don’t clip into the mounts on the frame but I’m ok with that.
Any thoughts on where to source a 60-61 inch intermediate cable?

Not tidy, but you could extend the front cable by a few inches with a coupling nut and some threaded rod. Enough to make the shorter cable work? Pretty sure the threaded rod is 5/16"-24 ... Ace will probably have the threaded rod. Do you have the shorter cable? If I did not, I'd mock up a cable that length and see if the extended rod will work with it.
Did you look in the parts book? There are dozens of these cables, depending on year and equipment. I assume you have the TH400 and it's the 401 in your sig. It matters. In my experience, the pre-1980 cables are NLA for these vehicles.
Perhaps you can find something close enough. If not, there are custom brake cable companies. Won't be cheap of course, but the classic car community will have suppliers that can make custom parts. Look online, or maybe check Hemmings.
