Razor Fog Lights

Post by claybuster84 »

Thinking of committing an egregious sin and modifying the stock razor grill I have. My brother is a professional aluminum welder and thinking of designing and making some "rings" that would then be cut and grafted into the grill face where the pie pates are located to accommodate some classic KC lights. I hae seen this in the later pig nose grill but never in a razor. Thoughts? examples of this done?

if it is a perfectly good grill , yes very bad move especially when guys are looking for a good solid piece, looj for one thats not to badly messed up and modify that one, i removed my muscle grill and installed a razor grill, some part are just not going to be repro'd and this grill (razor) is one , but hey its your jeep, i just know from prior restorations certain parts become un- obtainium.

I have also thought about this idea before. So I went looking and saw this. I really like the look of it. I think it coulda been a little cooler if they left the grille bars around them open, but still cool. I have also seen pics of people just running lights behind the grille in the pie pan area.

I like the look of lights behind the grill. Is wiring there for the lights or are they just pans there?

No wiring. Unless you have a rhino grill setup, there are just empty holes behind the grill. Only the rhino setup had pans from the factory.

BTW, OP - I like your username!
