So you guys have been telling me the springs are all the same length itll be fine bolt up no problem. They are TOTAL length the same.. but not the same front to back.. 8ft b3d springs are 25 1/4 front 31 3/4 rear.. which means the axle is pulled foward.
On 7ft, cherokee and wagoneer ttucks its 31 and 26. So 3/4 of an inch lesser in the rear and greater in the front. Ive veen trying to say this but get ignored by some of you on here.
So here is proof.
Made a full video explaining the things it did to my 8ft j10 using these springs. Did it bolt up ? Sure.. did it cause problems.. yes. Watch this and youll see i was right
No they are ok. The 97-459 i found ages ago are back ordered by 5-6 months per stanly spring.. they dont mske em so its a custom order. And yes ive been trying to tell people this but people on here keep saying theyre the same springs.. when theure NOT lol
So i just got the 485 as i didnt wanna wait half a year.. I guess ill find out if my drive shaft pulls out or not huh ?
This also means everyn single LIFT spring out there is also not for 8 ft beds technically.. since it goes off the 7ft length pattern
