email PM notification delay

Post by babywag »

Just an FYI, if a bunch of ifsja.org people migrate over the issue may become a nuisance to some?
In a nutshell forum PM notification sent 10:35am but not relayed until 12:16pm.
I don't really care, as I had already read and replied to the PM, but some people might?

Just sent a bunch of PM's back and forth between two accounts I have that use different emails and the email notifications showed up within a second or so.

If anybody else thinks they are getting delayed emails, please post up here.

The message notifications have been getting to me with very little delay all along.

We still love you Jerry.

Babywag and I were sending PM's yesterday, I had about the same 2 hour lag.
That being said I am on Cox.net for email and we have several episodes of downtime recently.

Click the button up top that typically says "0 new messages", you are then looking at msg's you have received. You can then click on the "sent" and "outbox" buttons just above that list. Outbox is msg's you have sent, but have not been read yet.
