There was some build like that around here for the longest time- decades ago. Funky stuff, but I liked it. I haven’t see it driving around in at least a decade though. Kinda makes me wonder what happened to it.

This episode REALLY reminded me of the guy in canada over on IFSJA that build one of these years ago. I cannot recall his username. But it was on tons and boggers.
I remember that rig on IFSJA! The guy's username was HardcorePacer. He posted some pics of it wheeling too, but that was many years ago.

Final episode of season 2 of Fortitude, an Amazon Prime series. It appears several times in season 2. It is set in the (fictional) northernmost city in Norway, within the Arctic Circle. Seems like a terrible place to drive 1970s technology.
I love how 5+|- years after the zombie apocalypse these people still have a perfectly running FSJ but I struggle to keep mine driving daily. Of course, like most of these in the, the wagoneer was murdered.
you can even read the epic adventure in the document section of the listed website, very informative race issues such as vapor lock, wheel bearings, wheel studs shearing and the flying rear axle. And yes the 401 finished the race.
