I've got a 79 wagoneer with the low back buckets in the front. Does anyone make custom seat covers for these that aren't a put over what you have seat cover, but like the katzkins ones where you replace your current covering?
Automotive interiors does a seat cover that can be used to fit over existing covers or remove old covers and install. I installed over the existing covers. https://www.automotiveinteriors.com/Default.asp

If you've got fu money then I'd recommend Robert Budd. http://www.classic9leathershop.com/photo-galleries Back when I had my Porsche he did a fabulous job on making it OEM Leather Original from 1982. I asked him to redo my GW 6 months ago and he came back rather steep. I know it would be the bomb but I figured I could ColorBond (spray) some Cordovan seats Tan. Just got the reply back from ColorBonds paint match service and going to order the paint. Will let everyone know how it turns out.
Just to add fuel to the fire, you may be able to swap the seats out for a modern seat for about the same price as a nice set of covers. If you are just looking for something super cheap, I used these for a while:
The color is pretty close to the doeskin of my Cherokee. The headrest is seperate from the rest of the cover, so you can just remove it. Fit pretty sung on my buckets after getting the bottom strap snug (had to jerry rig it a bit). But got me by when waiting for my new seats to arrive.

How have these seat covers held up?
It has been nearly 9 years since I installed those seat covers. I just noticed a few months back that the driver seat has a seam that is just starting to pull apart. I have used this Jeep for daily driving and for all my YouTube channel adventures. I think they held up quite well and would not hesitate on purchasing another set.
